I've Applied... What's Next?
So you've submitted your application... now what? If you have not completed and submitted your application, log in to your account on this website or create an account (see options below Admissions header in column to the left). Here are some steps to help you along the way.
Step One:
Apply for Financial Aid online at
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
Step Two:
Submit an official high school transcript to SCC admissions center that indicates a graduation date or provide official GED scores.
- Applicants who have earned an associates degree or higher from an accredited institution are not required to verify high school graduation or the equivalent provided they submit an official college transcript verifying the highest degree earned.
Step Three:
Take the COMPASS skills assessment. Students who have taken the SAT or ACT, please provide copies of your test scores to determine if additional testing is required.
- Applicants, who have previously tested on COMPASS or ASSET, please provide copies of your test scores.
- Applicants with previous college credit may exempt all or a portion of the COMPASS or ASSET skills assessment.
Step Four:
Review your test results and/or transcripts with an SCC admissions counselor for acceptance to the college. Counselors are available on a walk-in basis.

Register and pay your tuition/fees by the payment due date. Please refer to the
