I've Applied... What's Next?
So you've submitted your application... now what? If you have not completed and submitted your application, log in to your account on this website or create an account (see options below Admissions header in column to the left). Here are some steps to help you along the way.
Step One: Financial Aid
Complete and file your IRS tax return.
You and your parent (if dependent, should apply for PIN at
www.pin.ed.gov prior to starting Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the web. Approximately two weeks after filing the IRS return, complete a FAFSA online at
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Simplify the process by using the IRS Data Retrieval Option.

You do not have to what for financial aid to process before moving to the steps as listed below.
Step Two: Transcripts
Request your official high school and college transcripts be sent to the Admissions Center, mailed to PO Box 4386, Spartanburg SC 29305 - or request online via the link:
Step Three: Entrance Testing
Visit the Admissions Center and complete the COMPASS skills assessment.
ASSET, ACT (19 in Math and 19 in Verbal) or SAT (480 in Math and 480 in Critical Reading scores may also be used in lieu of COMPASS.
Step Four: Acceptance/Advising & Registration
Applicants can confirm acceptance by visiting any of the SCC campuses' Admissions Centers.
After confirming acceptance, an Academic Advisor will assist you with advising and registration.
Step Five: Tuition Payment, Books & Parking Decal
Follow up with Financial Aid and the Business Office; obtain books, parking decal and student ID.
