Spartanburg Community College Truck Driver Training Program is dedicated to preparing individuals for careers in the truck driving industry, to help meet the fast growing needs for qualified professional truck drivers. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A is five weeks for a total of 160 documented instructional hours and will qualify you to drive a tractor trailer.

- Coupling and Uncoupling
- Straight-line Backing
- Alley Dock Backing
- Parallel Parking
- Shifting and Maneuvering
- Road Driving
- Defensive Driving
- Log Book
- DOT Rules and Regulations
- CDL Examination Preparation and Testing
- Job Placement Assistance
Next Course Dates:
November 25 - January 10, 2020 | 8am - 5pm (No classes 12/19/19 - 1/1/20)
The above classes are held at SCC's Tyger River Campus, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with night driving hours scheduled as necessary to meet state requirements.
Class A CDL Tuition - $4,399 - Tuition/scholarship funds are available for this course.

Note: A CLP (Commercial Learner's Permit), Background Check and DOT physical are required prior to enrollment in class.
