Accelerated Business Center/CU-ICAR
The Accelerated Business Center on the Tyger River Campus is an invaluable tool for business or industry to jump-start an expansion or re-location. By offering over 180,000 square feet of open, warehouse space in the Tyger River Building, the Accelerated Business Center is unique primarily in the versatility of what it can become.

In September 2007 we announced a collaborative agreement with the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) Partnership Office that will offer potential economic benefit to the residents of Spartanburg County (see
article on Clemson University website).
The ABC's overriding purpose is to provide space for new or expanding business or industry to use as needed. For example, the Center may be used to develop new products or processes, used to train existing employees on new products or processes, or used to train new employees on existing products or processes. It may even be used for pre-employment training to enable a company to select the most qualified candidates for new positions. Regardless of the specific need, SCC is committed to partnering with business and industry at the Tyger River Campus’ Accelerated Business Center to create a thriving Upstate economy and workforce. This campus also features the
Small Business Incubator.
