Maintenance 2020: What Does This Mean to Maintenance Technicians?
Join us for the AMTEC Academy, Maintenance 2020: What Does this Mean to the Maintenance Technicians?, March 22-23, 2012 in beautiful Spartanburg, South Carolina. AMTEC partners Spartanburg Community College and BMW will cohost the spring Academy. Sessions will be held at the Spartanburg Community College with a tour of BMW Manufacturing Co. on Friday.
A demonstration of the AMTEC Manufacturing Simulator by designers and builders Keller McGaffey, ITS, and Kelly Lowry, Lowry Controls, will be featured Friday morning. This session will be followed by Keith Davis, Maintenance Manager, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky discussing how industry and educators use the Simulator as a troubleshooting training tool in manufacturing .
The Academy will also include sessions on Sustainability presented by Bill Schlegel; Global Standards for Technicians, Dr. Roy Swift, ANSI; Global Outlook, Dr. Ni, University of Michigan; and the Deep Orange Project, Clemson/ICAR, BMW Partner, Ryan Childers.
