Maggie the Therapy Dog!

Meet Maggie!

Brent Lewis is from the Upstate of South Carolina. He has been married for 26 years and is the proud father of three sons, ages 21, 20, and 20. Brent has been a VFIS Specialist for Correll Insurance Group since September 2019. In 2021 he retired after 29 years of Public Safety (EMS, Law Enforcement, and Fire) service in South Carolina, most recently as the Assistant Fire Chief of the North Spartanburg Fire District. Brent has been an instructor, consultant, and Emergency Services advocate for years. He currently travels South Carolina, working with departments across the state, servicing their insurance needs, and providing training, risk management, and claims assistance. Mr. Lewis holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resource Management, a bachelor’s Degree in Fire Service Administration, and an Associate's Degree in Fire Science, as well as credentials as a Nationally Registered Paramedic (Ret.), Fire Officer IV, Fire Instructor II, and a licensed insurance producer for Property and Casualty, and Life and Health. He also serves as a Class III State Constable.
 
Maggie the Therapy Dog
Maggie is a 10-month-old Goldendoodle. She is the 4th child of Brent and Jennifer Lewis. Maggie is a Certified Multidisciplinary Therapy Dog; she attended the Paws and Stripes College of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. She has also completed her AKC Basic & Advanced Good Citizen Programs. When she is not giving and receiving love, she enjoys being a puppy at home.
