High School Students Can Earn College Credit at SCC
Our Early College Program is a dual credit program that provides high school students who are 16 years of age or older an opportunity to enroll in SCC courses prior to graduation from high school. Courses offered include general education and technical career courses that may be applied toward many SCC programs of study. For more information and required forms, visit our Early College webpage.
Important Information Regarding 2016-2017 High School Transcripts
The S.C. Commission on Higher Education has given direction regarding 2016-17 high school transcripts used to confirm high school graduation for those students who wish to benefit from South Carolina grants and scholarships. Transcripts coming from South Carolina high schools, including those received electronically, must include the signature of the high school principal or superintendent beginning with the 2016-17 academic year.
Technical Advanced Placement
TAP is designed to assist high school students into making a smooth transition from high school to college. Qualified students can earn TAP credit at SCC for skills mastered in similar high school occupational courses. Eligible programs of study include:

August 16 - Full semester, 7.5-Week Term I begin
September 20 - 5-Week Term I, 10-Week Term begins
