Electronics Engineering Technology
Chasing Tomorrow's Technology Today!
If you're interested in a career in technology or engineering, a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) may be for you! In this project-based program, you will learn everything from hands-on skills like soldering and cable fabrication to programming microprocessors to control electrical hardware. Graduates excel in many environments where strong electrical skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must. Want to learn even more? With an EET degree, you can also continue your education at a 4-year institution through partnerships with local colleges.
Graduates of the Electronics Engineering Technology program will be able to:
- Demonstrate the technical, professional and leadership skills to progress during successful careers within their chosen specialty areas.
- Demonstrate progress in the quality of work they deliver, and their ability to apply innovative solutions to technical problems, by continuing their technical and professional education.
- Demonstrate their ability to adapt to constantly changing workplace and ethical issues, including their ability to collaborate effectively on teams that may contain members with diverse backgrounds.
The EET program at SCC is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical/Electronic(s) Engineering Technology.
EET students have excelled in their careers with Michelin. Working on cutting edge electronics, circuits, and automation, supporting our needs in Advanced Manufacturing.
