Federal Pell Grant (PELL)

The Federal Pell Grant does not have to be repaid and is a program for students who have not previously earned a baccalaureate degree. Pell Grant is considered the foundation of federal financial aid to which aid from other federal and nonfederal sources might be added. To apply, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

A student can only receive the Pell Grant for up to 12 semesters or the equivalent. Students can track their remaining Pell Grant eligibility on NSLDS at https://nsldsfap.ed.gov/ or on the Student Aid Report.
