Off-Campus Testing Procedures for SCC Students
First and foremost, if you would like to test off-campus, you must first receive permission from your instructor(s). Here are the steps after you receive permission from your SCC instructor(s):
- Contact the testing administrator of the institution at which you would like to test. Make sure you get the following contact information: contact name, contact number, and email address. Any fees charged for testing are the responsibility of the student.
- Complete the Student Request for Testing Offsite Form SCC Student Request for Testing Offsite Form and email it to proctor-e3@sccsc.edu.
- Upon receipt of the completed form, SCC Testing Center will send the Proctor Contract Form to the proposed testing institution.
- Institution will complete and return the form to SCC Testing Center at proctor-e3@sccsc.edu.
- The SCC Testing Center will email you and the instructor with the necessary contact information when the approved Proctor Contract Form is returned.
- Instructor will then send testing materials to the off-campus proctoring institution with specific return instructions.
- You will need to contact the proctoring institution to set up a testing date and time that is within the guidelines set by SCC instructor.
- You will have to present a valid picture ID to the off campus testing proctor prior to testing.
- Once test is administered, the non-SCC testing proctor will return all testing instructions and all exam materials directly to the SCC instructor.
