Course Information
If this is your first step towards a future in the construction industry, this training is the ideal starting point for a wide variety of career paths. Construction Technology will ground you in the basic knowledge and principles of carpentry, masonry, electrical work, HVAC, and plumbing. This 6 week, 54 hour course will also give you the knowledge and prepare you to take the Residential Builder Exam. This is not a hands on course. You must work under a general contractor for one year before you can take the exam and be licensed. Students are required to purchase the SC Residential Contractor Reference Book Set. Select SC as your state, choose SC Residential Builder Course, and SC Residential Contractor Reference Book Set. Company offers Affirm payment plan. This is a recommended site, you are welcome to check other sites but please make sure you have all books that s listed in this set and they are current.
